My reason for buying it was the height extension and the air being able to escape from laptop.Now I must say it's easy to carry and provides a reasonable height .Material is good tooOne thing that bothers me is that one side is loose so when adjusting, creates a bit of a problem, otherwise 5 stars.

This stand looks flimsy in the photos but it is of metal and quite sturdy. I am super pleased with the quality, especially at this price point. As I am not convinced that the majority of coolant fans are of much use, the improved ventilation this stand offers is all one can ask for. Its portability for laptop users is also unparalleled
